News & Reviews News Experience Africa 2026

Next week, I am coming out of my man cave/cocoon and seeing actual humans in their human environment.  I’m going to Experience Africa.

A lot of the big players in the industry will be there: Londolozi, MORE, Tswalu, Wilderness, Natural Selection, Belmond, Jao, North Island, Thanda Island, The Royal Portfolio, Great Plains, and the list goes on.

If you’re attending, do come say hello.

And if you’re hoping to meet, as I’ve written less flattering things about your lodge and you’ve spent years rehearsing this conversation in your head, perfecting your opening line in the shower, and praying our paths would one day cross so your vengeance can be swift and pure.  Or muttering imaginary rebuttals on long-haul flights. Rewatching The Silence of the Lambs for inspiration.  Cackling “soon” into the darkness before drifting off to sleep.

In that case, I hope you have your moment, or my name isn’t Lord Bartholomew III Abercrombie-Kent.
