News & Reviews Indian Ocean Maldives It’s March. You’re Late. The Maldives Festive Rush Is On.

Yes, it’s March. Yes, you’ve only just recovered from that annual holiday standoff with your in-laws. And yet, here we are: time to talk Festive again.

Back in my software days, we’d be planning for Black Friday and Festive in January, so March actually feels mercifully late.

Anyway, the point: Maldives resorts have begun releasing their Festive availability. Velaa and Cheval Blanc Randheli just dropped their rates in the last couple of weeks, and since they’re usually the final holdouts, that’s your cue.

Why does this matter? Because these places have waitlists for their waitlists. If you’re eyeing something exceptional, now’s the time. You can usually get away with waiting for the rest, but the top-tier stuff always disappears first.

Happy hunting.
