When I started writing, I never gave ratings because, let’s face it, commitment is scary. Instead, I rambled for thousands of words. Much easier.
Then I had a bright idea to categorise things as good, bad, or luxurious.
Now, I’m succumbing to the mundane and adopting a 5-star rating system (with the added cop-out of half star ratings). Yes, I’ve been avoiding this like a fatso dodges a treadmill, but the day of reckoning is here. Expect the ratings to be as consistent as the weather forecast.
I’m not even going to pretend I’ll retrofit old reviews with stars unless someone really bugs me about it. But moving forward, sure, I’ll be sprinkgliny some starry goodness on my future rants—when I feel like it.
