Singita Kilima – new ultra-luxury villa opening October ’24

Not to be content with just having opened the brand-spanking new, ultra-luxury, most-expensive-property-in-their-portfolio, exclusive-use, five-bedroom super-villa, Singita Milele, back in May, Singita is back with another stunner—Singita Kilima, also located in Grumeti.  They own 350,000 acres of land, but at some point, you’d think they’ll run out of space with all these new villas appearing.

In contrast to the high-profile buzz surrounding Milele, Kilima is set to open quietly next month. Perched on a hillside overlooking the Serengeti, Singita Kilima offers a harmonious retreat that blends effortlessly with its natural surroundings. The villa accommodates up to 10 guests in five uniquely designed suites, some featuring heated plunge pools. These include a main suite, a junior suite, and three one-bedroom suites.

Kilima’s earthy tones and cosy, modern aesthetic create a serene ambience, complemented by both indoor and outdoor spaces that showcase sweeping views of the Serengeti plains. Guests can unwind by the infinity pool, relax on wooden decks, or enjoy the media room, while a fully equipped fitness centre offers opportunities to stay active.

Inside, the villa features spacious lounges with fireplaces and dining areas, all framed by stunning views. Outdoors, guests can savour the setting with lounge areas equipped with bars, daybeds, loungers, and al fresco dining by the fire pit.

Kilima provides a peaceful escape with direct access to the Serengeti, including exceptional wildlife viewing and the annual wildebeest migration. Grumeti is one, if not the premier spot to witness the Great Migration, thanks to its private land and rich concentration of wildlife. Rates during the Migration begin at $26,250 per night for up to six guests and rise to $35,000 per night for groups of up to ten.
