Last year I wrote a little piece about hyper-focused safaris. Marvellous piece. Destined to become a cult classic — a slow burner, like Fight Club or The Thing. In it, I mentioned two obsessions I was desperate to tick off: lions hunting buffalo in daylight, and a crocodile taking a wildebeest. Well. Guess what? Done. Both. Easy.  All on the same trip to Tanzania.  All it took was ten years and roughly ten billion hours of patience.

And you may be thinking that this is a luxury travel blog, so do know I saw them in Singita properties.  We can all breath a sigh of relief that there is a direct correlation between what you pay and what you see…honest.
